Governance is the system through which a bank is directed and controlled. Therefore it’s a set of relations between executive directors, board of directors, shareholders and depositors. Application of governance at SLCB is being carried out through corporate governance, which is a set of rules, and procedures under which the bank is managed and well controlled. And therefore, it determines the responsibilities, rights and relations with all concerned parties to take rational decisions related to bank’s activities and client’s interest.
